This position provides direct care assistance to the resident in a manner that meets or exceeds community expectations, including being familiar with and prepared to fulfill responsibilities including direct care, light housekeeping, laundry, and meal service. Must have the ability to work with residents with memory impairment and behaviors. This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility. Speak, read and understand English fluently. Must be willing and able to work required and scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, overtime and holidays. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to noisy. Must be able to pass a Criminal Record clearance, TB Screening, and Employment Physical. EOE

- Responding to emergency situations
- Facilitating community and recreational outings, including transport
- Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
